What is the difference between strip and custom edit?
Wipe All Data removes every EXIF, GPS, IPTC, and XMP block in one click. Custom Edit lets you inject copyright, creator, description, keywords, CreatorTool branding, and corrected capture dates while keeping the image pixels unchanged.
Are my images uploaded to your server?
No. Image Metadata Editor runs entirely in your browser with ExifTool WebAssembly. Image bytes are not sent to any API route.
Which file formats are supported?
JPEG, JPG, PNG, and WebP. Tag coverage varies by format — IPTC and XMP fields generally carry over; some JPEG-only EXIF fields may not apply to PNG or WebP.
Can I process multiple photos at once?
Yes. Upload a batch, process every image, and download the results as a single ZIP archive.
Can I view existing metadata before editing?
